Snow showers continued Thursday afternoon in northeastern Nebraska, eastern South Dakota, southern Minnesota and the northern half of Iowa. The remainder of the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions were dry. Temperatures ranged from the single digits in southern Saskatchewan, northern Montana and northwestern North Dakota to the mid 60s in far south Texas.

Friday will bring more light snow to most of Iowa and southern Minnesota, along with south-central Wisconsin. We'll also see a round of light rain develop in the Delta. Otherwise, a dry pattern will be in place going into the end of the week, end ...
