Light to moderate snow is in store for the Northern Plains, western Midwest and far eastern Midwest Thursday. Dry conditions will cover the rest of the main U.S. and Prairie crop regions. Actual moisture with this snow appears to be limited.

Highs: Subzero northern Prairies; Single digits southern Prairies; teens/20s northern and central Plains, northern and western Midwest; 30s/40s Southern Plains, Texas Panhandle, northern Texas, central, eastern and southern Midwest, Delta; 50s/60s remainder of Texas, Deep South, Southeast.
