A storm system which brought extensive severe weather to the Deep South Tuesday will produce heavy snow and blizzard conditions in the southeastern and eastern Midwest Wednesday. Blizzard warnings are in effect for the Missouri Bootheel and lower Ohio Valley. We'll also see additional rain in the southeastern U.S. with this storm system. Moisture will be beneficial for winter wheat in the eastern Midwest, but transportation delays and livestock stress will also be extensive.
