There are a number of ways to look at Monday's banquet of government reports. First, there was the appetizer -- weekly export inspections -- that whetted the appetite for the feast to come. The entree was the Quarterly Stocks and Planted Acreage offering that left most stuffed to the gills. Dessert came later in the afternoon in the form of weekly Crop Progress and Condition numbers.
