Mon Nov 4, 2013 03:21 PM CST

OMAHA (DTN) -- We're entering the home stretch of harvest 2013, with 86% of the nation's soybeans and 73% of the corn in the bin as of Sunday, Nov. 3, according to USDA's latest weekly Crop Progress report.

That compares to the five-year averages of 85% and 71% harvested, respectively.

"Monday's report shows that corn harvest is going well and should be viewed as bearish for prices, said DTN Analyst Todd Hultman. "The advance in harvest progress should also be viewed as bearish for soybean prices."
