DTN Retail Fertilizer Trends

OMAHA (DTN) -- How low can they go? We're not talking about a limbo game; we're talking retail fertilizer prices. The answer to that question is "even lower," as prices show no signs of leveling off, according to retail fertilizer prices tracked by DTN for the first week of October.

Prices for all eight of the major fertilizers moved down significantly from the previous month.

UAN32 was down 10% compared to last month, while potash, urea, 10-34-0 and UAN28 were all down 9%. UAN32 had an average price of $369 per ton, potash $496/ton, urea $443/ton, 10-34-0 $523/ton and UAN28 ...
