Midwest Crop Tour - Day 4

FREDERICKSBURG, Iowa (DTN) -- Scouts on the Midwest Crop Tour saw variable corn yields in east-central and northeast Iowa on Thursday morning.

"We are driving through one of the few areas that had troubles this year," said Kyle Wendland, a tour scout and farmer from Fredericksburg, Iowa. "So we expected Illinois to be great and consistent, it was. We kind of expect these fields to be a little less consistent."
