Administration's Proposed Fiscal 2014 Budget Request to be Late

The White House Office of Management and Budget says it won't have the president's budget proposal ready to send to Congress until sometime after the statutory deadline of Feb. 4. There is no penalty for missing the deadline, but some members of Congress have already begun criticizing the White House for the delay.
