STREATOR, Ill. (DTN) -- Iowa Governor Terry Branstad signed into law Wednesday legislation that extends the state's biodiesel producer incentive for three years, or until Dec. 31, 2017.

Originally set to expire at the end of the year, the state's biodiesel producer incentive is structured as a 2 cent per gallon refundable credit for the first 25 million gallons produced at any single plant in the state.
