The jump in cheese prices triggered sufficient buyer interest to push June Class III futures limit-up to $20.98. July jumped 71 cents to $20.69. Although milk production in the Central region of the country continues to improve, the range of prices for extra milk remains wide from $3.50 below class to $1.50 above. This range really has not changed in weeks. However, reports indicate most milk is moving around at a discount.
