It was a funny day in futures with higher cheese prices unable to trigger significant buying interest. Later in the day, the April contract was hit hard with price dropping 30 cents at the close of open outcry trading. However, electronic activity does not indicate a willingness of traders to come back in that contract and push it higher. Many will be thinking of what to do overnight with the overriding idea being that prices in all contracts will rebound due to strong cheese prices.
