Class I demand remains strong limiting volumes to manufacturing in the Northeast. Another cold blast of winter weather and snow will move into the area this week. This has prompted consumers to increase purchasing of dairy products prior to the colder weather in order to minimize the need for shopping during this period. This weather may again affect milk production as cows will need more nutrition to maintain body condition. Weather is improved in Florida with milk production higher.
