Manufacturing milk supplies in the Northeast are tight due to heavy demand from bottling. Bottling plants are able to supply fluid milk demand, but this leaves little to none extra for manufacturing other than usual contracted supply. Florida required a greater volume of milk to come in this week with 210 loads shipped in compared to 186 loads last week. Milk production is anticipated to be at or near seasonal low levels and should begin to show some sign of increasing soon.
