Milk

Milk production has been affected nationwide with milk intakes reduced. It is interesting to note that many dairy framers indicate limited effects on production depending on how their farms are set up for cooling. Of course, we will not know the full impact of this weather until we see the July milk production report in about a month from now. The report tomorrow will be for June, which is expected to show an increase in production from last year. I estimate milk production to be up 0.6% from a year ago.
