Milk production this week across the country was mixed. Some areas continue to see increases while others have reached and surpassed peak milk production. Class I demand continues to decline on a weekly basis depending on areas and schools system closings. Demand for Class II products continues to improve, but at a slower pace than usual. Overall cooler-than-normal weather continues to linger in some areas. Ice cream production is increasing as manufacturers build stocks for upcoming summer demand.
