USDA reports that milk production continues to expand in the East, adding to an already plentiful milk supply. Despite some adverse weather in that region, cows are doing well. Feed supplies are being assessed and adjustments being made to align feed supply with cow numbers. Snowfall in the Great Plains and the Midwest has changed some ideas over the potential of crops. There was significant snowfall in some areas while others received very little similar to the spottiness of rainfall during the summer. There remains plenty of concern over the upcoming year.
