Milk production continues to remain strong in most areas of the country. This does not seen to let up with dairy producers doing the best job they can to produce milk efficiently. Many farmers have discovered alternative feed stuffs balanced in the rations which have resulted in maintaining milk production or in some cases improving milk production. Opportunities are always discovered during times of adversity. That may not improve profitability to a great degree, but may result in better herd health and allow for better cash flow.
