Potential Class III milk prices below $17.00 are a growing concern. It has not been too long since milk prices were that low or lower. The last time milk price was below $17.00 was in July 2012. Feed prices were lower at that time relative to where they currently are. However, milk production continues to remain strong with cow numbers increasing as well as production per cow.
