Production remains higher than last year, but the resumption of bottling for school accounts alleviates the heavy offerings for manufacturing. Transportation continues to be challenging in some areas as milk supply is moving around to where it is needed. The average all-milk price for 2012 was $18.53, down from $20.14 in 2011 according to the December "Agricultural Prices" report. The U.S. City Average Retail price for a gallon of milk in November was $3.54, up 2 cents from October.

Average Class III Prices:

3 Month: $18.28
