GENERAL COMMENTS

Aggressive price support has developed in all livestock markets early Wednesday. It is uncertain just how strong buyer interest will be at opening bell, but the activity levels seen through the complex could help to spark increased focus on both the long and short term moves in cattle and hog futures. Corn futures are trading lower in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading higher, with Dow Jones posting a 67 point higher, while Nasdaq is up 23 points.
