GENERAL COMMMENTS

Light trade is expected to be seen through most of the morning across all livestock futures markets. Traders are looking for additional direction in both the cash hog markets and potential meat values. But it is uncertain just how much trader's interest this will develop through futures complexes. Corn futures are trading lower in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading higher, with Dow Jones posting 22 points higher, while Nasdaq is up 23 points.
