Feedlot country is generally quiet this morning, though we have seen a few bids of $132 in the South and $210 in the North. Asking bids should stay firm at $136 to $137 in the South and $216-plus in the North. Cash hog buyers have resumed work in the early going with bids steady to $1 lower. Most of this morning's effort appears to be about steady. Corn futures have opened 3-4 cents higher with the help of short-covering and technical buying.
