GENERAL COMMENTS:

Early moves in livestock futures are pointing to renewed buyer interest trickling back into the complex. This renewed optimism in the market may be short lived given the aggressive pressure early in the week, especially in lean hog futures. Trade is likely to slow through midmorning as traders focus more intently on morning reports. Corn futures are trading lower in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading lower, with Dow Jones posting a 73-point loss, while Nasdaq is down 4 points.
