GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are expected to trade mixed in a narrow trading range Tuesday. Very little direction is developing across the overnight electronic markets which may keep traders on the sidelines through much of the morning. Movement in outside markets could spark some increased interest through the complex, but this may not be enough to significantly move price levels. Corn futures are trading lower in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading lower, with Dow Jones posting a 58 point loss, while Nasdaq is down 3 points.
