GENERAL COMMENTS:

Following strong gains in cattle futures Monday, traders are much harder to find as trade is expected to remain mixed following lack of direction in overnight futures. Lean hog futures have surged higher with traders focusing on additional support concerning potentially tight supplies once again. Trade volume across the entire livestock market is expected light Tuesday morning. Corn futures are trading lower in early trade. The stock market is trading mixed. The Dow Jones Index is 10 points lower while Nasdaq is up 2 points.
