GENERAL COMMENTS:

Narrow gains are holding in nearby livestock futures markets. Traders are looking for additional support from beef and pork market fundamentals. Trade volume is expected to remain sluggish through the first couple hours of trade. Corn futures are trading mixed in early trade. The stock market is trading higher. The Dow Jones Index is 51 points higher while Nasdaq is up 14 points.
