GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are called mixed early Tuesday. The sharp losses in the lean hog market on Monday has allowed for some light buyer interest to redevelop. Both live cattle and lean hog futures remain contained in a narrow trading range. Feeder cattle futures on the other hand are showing sharp initial losses early Tuesday. Corn futures are trading higher in early trade. The stock market is trading higher. Dow Jones is 76 points higher, and Nasdaq is up 10 points.
