GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are called mixed in early trade. Additional follow through pressure is developing in the lean hog market. The lack of support in both beef and pork market fundamentals is keeping futures on the defensive. Corn futures are trading lower in early electronic trade. Stock markets are higher in light trade. Dow Jones is 77 points higher while the Nasdaq is up 18 points.
