OMAHA (DTN) -- The trading range in both the cattle and lean hog futures market has narrowed at midday. This has eroded nearby contract gains in the lean hog futures market, while live cattle losses have eased significantly near noon. The pressure in the grain complex is limiting the early pressure seen across the live cattle and feeder cattle futures. Deferred lean hog futures are still holding strong gains based on expected long-term supply tightness in the market.
