GENERAL COMMENTS:

Movement in the cash cattle markets continues to be at a standstill. Packers have not even floated token bids at this point with the potential of active trade being pushed back to the end of the week. Traders may continue to focus on the direction of the wholesale beef markets as well as direction of futures trade. Early asking prices are around $122 in the South and $195-$196 in the North.
