Cash cattle trade remains undeveloped through the day Tuesday with most trade likely to be pushed until later in the week. Bids started to be seen in the South at $120 per hundredweight. But these bids are likely to get very little attention, still well below asking prices. According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base closed $1.78 higher compared with the Prior Day settlement ($85.00-$103.00, weighted average $99.92). The corn market closed generally 4 to 9 cents higher, following moderate support as buyers step back into the market following Monday's losses. Stocks closed sharply lower. ...
