From Friday to Friday, livestock futures scored the following changes: June LC, off .78; Aug LC, off 1.30; May FC, off 3.03; Aug FC, off 3.67; June LH, off .35; July LH, off .45. The cash cattle trade was not tested today with buyers apparently satisfied with trade volume generated on Wednesday and Thursday. Final trade volume totals were decent in the North but somewhat small in the South. According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base closed 0.78 higher compared with the Prior Day settlement ($74.00-$90.50, weighted average $88.18). The corn market closed mostly lower, ...
