MARKET SUMMARY

HRS wheat ended 6 to 12 3/4 cents lower, corn closed 5 1/4 to 10 3/4 cents lower, soybeans are 10 3/4 cents to 39 cents lower and canola finished $6.40 to $6.90/mt lower.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

In mid-day trade, the TSX was down 10 points at 14,289. The Canadian dollar was unchanged at $0.9008 CAD/USD, while the U.S. dollar index was 0.028 higher at 79.75. Gold is $2.40 higher at $1,340.60/ounce. Crude oil is $1.33/barrel lower at $101.25/barrel, while Brent crude is 84 cents lower at $108.16/barrel.
