MARKET SUMMARY

MGEX HRS closed 1/2 to 1 3/4 cents lower, corn closed 5 to 5 1/2 cents higher, soybeans closed 3 to 6 3/4 cents higher, while canola closed $3.80 to $4.50/mt lower.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

The TSX was 48 points higher, leaving the index at 13,383. The Canadian dollar was 8 basis points lower at $.9356 CAD/USD, while the U.S. dollar index was 0.512 higher at 80.760. Gold was $39.30 lower at $1,195.70/ounce. Crude oil was $1.03 higher at $98.83/barrel, while the Brent crude trade was 63 cents higher at $110.27/barrel.
