MARKET SUMMARY

HRS wheat closed 3 1/2 to 4 3/4 cents lower, corn ended 3 1/2 to 3 3/4/bu higher, soybeans finished 8 3/4 to 9 1/2 cents higher while canola closed $2.60 to $3.60/mt higher.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

The TSX equity index was up 32 points in mid-day trade, leaving the index at 13,216. Equity markets are cautious ahead of the U.S. Fed meeting over the next two days, with the notion of stimulus spending "tapering" the primary concern to the markets.
