MARKET SUMMARY

Corn closed 1 to 2 cents lower, soybeans ended 4 3/4 to 8 1/2 cents lower, canola finished $11.20 to $11.40 lower, and MGRX HRS finished 6 1/2 to 9 1/4 cents lower.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

The TSX is 27 points higher at 13,339, lifted by higher gold and crude oil prices. The Canadian dollar is 32 higher at $0.9439 CAD/U.S. dollar, while the U.S. dollar index is 0.225 lower at 79.915. Gold is $28.20 higher at $1,268.50/ounce. Crude oil is $1.02 higher at $98.36/barrel, while Brent crude is 17 cents lower at $109.22/barrel.
