MARKET SUMMARY

MGEX wheat closed 1/4 higher to 1 cent lower, corn finished 3 1/2 to 3 3/4 lower, soybeans ended 1/4 to 2 1/2 lower while canola closed $3 to $3.20/mt higher.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

In mid-day trade, the TSX equity index was 66 points higher at 13,437. U.S. markets are also higher. The Canadian dollar was 18 points lower at $.9529 CAD/USD, while the U.S. dollar index was .127 higher at 81.110.
