MARKET SUMMARY

MGEX wheat was up 4 1/4 to 8 cents, corn was up 19 1/2 to 22 cents, soybeans up 15 to 55 cents, while canola ended $15.80 to $17.20/mt higher.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

In mid-day trade, the Canadian TSX equity index is 103.65 lower, leaving the index at 12,633.65. U.S. Federal Reserve meeting minutes will be released on Wednesday, with markets waiting for signs that stimulus spending may be reduced. The Canadian dollar is 17 basis points lower at $.9663 CAD/U.S. dollar, while the U.S. dollar is 0.023 lower at 81.270. Gold is $5.50/ounce lower at $1,366.20/ounce. Crude oil ...
