MARKET SUMMARY

MGEX wheat closed 1 1/4 to 2 cents lower, soybeans ended 5 1/2 cents lower (Sept) and 4 1/2 to 8 1/2 higher (new crop), canola finished $2.50 to $3.20/mt higher, and corn ended the day down 2 1/2 to 4 cents lower.

Outside Markets

Toronto's equity market is trading at 12,630.96 in mid-day trade, down 38.18 points. This is the fourth day of losses for this market.
