OUTSIDE MARKETS

Canada's TSX equity market is posting positive numbers today, with the market currently up 42.66 points to 12,386.71. The Dow is up 29 points. The Canadian dollar has continued to trade under pressure, down 35 basis points to $.9959 CAD/U.S. dollar, below par. The U.S. dollar is trading .015 higher at 80.005. Gold is $17.50 lower at $1,669.20/ounce. NYMEX crude oil is 70 cents higher at $95.93, recapturing some of yesterday's losses. Brent crude is 49 cents higher at $113.29/barrel.
