October soybean meal futures were higher Thursday with no deliveries reported as the contract nears expiration. October closed at $427.80, up $10.20, with December up $3.60 per ton at $415.30. Cash soybean meal prices followed soybeans higher with central Illinois up $9, southern Minnesota and Iowa up $6 and east Kansas and Georgia up $10 per ton.
