Soybean meal futures closed higher with September closing up $11.50 at $420.30 and December up $17.90 per ton at $404.20. The Alberta ICE November canola futures followed soybeans and were up $17.20 at $517.80 following soybeans and soy oil which rose .59 to .64 cents per pound.
