Protein Markets (Soybean Meal)

Soybean meal futures posted slight gains last Friday despite lack of support in the soybean market. Front month futures prices closed $1.40 per ton higher, at $412.40 a ton. Cash markets responded early Monday with prices $1 to $2 per ton higher based on the momentum seen earlier last week. Canola prices were also reported higher with prices steady to $3 per ton higher.
