The soybean cash price was higher to end the day on Wednesday as the market still had a bullish tone after the USDA report confirmed what we all know, which is that soybeans are in a tight stocks situation until the end of the 2013 growing season. The soybean basis was also higher, and Dow Jones reported Wednesday afternoon that the basis in the Memphis corridor of the river was up 2 cents as barge freight was lower.
