USDA Weekly Crop Progress

OMAHA (DTN) -- Mild temperatures last week did not speed corn dry-down, as the percent in the dent stage as of Aug. 18 rose only 6 percentage points to 11%, compared to a five-year average of 30%, according to USDA's latest weekly crop progress report.

Corn condition ratings also dropped in the past week to 13% very poor to poor compared to 11% last week.
