OMAHA (DTN) -- Friday's weekly export sales report was neutral for corn and wheat and bullish for soybeans, according to DTN Senior Analyst Darin Newsom.

Weekly export sales of corn showed a total of 958,600 mt (37.7 mb) with 769,800 mt (30.3 mb) for 2012-2013. This is above the 429,500 mt (16.9 mb) needed this week to stay on pace with USDA's demand projection of 1.15 bb. Weekly shipments of 394,600 mt (15.5 mb) were well below the 592,100 mt (23.3 mb) needed this week. This report should be viewed as neutral, Newsom said.
