Market Summary: May corn is 7 1/2 cents higher, May spring wheat is up 10 cents, May canola is $1.50/mt higher while May soybeans are 16 cents higher. The Canadian dollar is 4 basis points lower.

Outside Markets

Asian equity markets finished mixed on Friday with the Nikkei closing .9% higher and the Shanghai Composite ending .1% lower. European markets are trading lower. The TSX closed lower on Thursday, ending down 32 points at 14,272. In overnight trade, Dow futures were 7 higher, which should point to a steady open in North American markets.
