GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are trading mixed with moderate pressure developing in cattle futures, but putting these moves back into gains in lean hog futures. Trade remains focused on the lack of support in boxed beef values despite offsetting moves Friday morning. Corn futures are lower at midday. March corn futures are 1 cent per bushel higher. Stock markets are lower in light trade. The Dow Jones is 213 points lower while Nasdaq is down 66 points.
