GENERAL COMMENTS:

Trade through the livestock futures market has remained sluggish through the morning with prices mixed in a narrow range through much of the trading session. Midday pressure in the December futures has developed in the live cattle markets, as traders take positions following the Tuesday rally. Lean hog futures remain mixed in a narrow range as traders look for additional direction in both outside markets as well as cash hog values. Corn futures are trading lower at midday in light trade.
