General Comments:

Corn closed down 2 1/4 cents in the September contract and down 2 cents in the December. Soybeans closed down 24 3/4 cents in the August contract and down 9 1/4 cents in the November. Wheat closed down 1/2 cent in the September Chicago contract, down 5 1/2 cents in the September Kansas City, and down 5 3/4 cents in the September Minneapolis. The September U.S. dollar index is down .05 at 80.21. August gold is down $.30 at $1,316.70 while September silver is up $.01 and September copper is down $.0005.
